While the area does not have many parks within its boundaries, several well-maintained green spaces are available just outside the neighborhood, allowing for pleasant outdoor breaks. Housing primarily consists of apartments constructed around the early 1990s, offering a variety of modern living options in a dynamic community.

Inwood is a great part of the city for those who enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities. Although the atmosphere is not the most lively in this area with its a few nightlife venues, there are options for nighttime activities. However, there is almost no greenery in this neighborhood; although, there are a few parks close by for residents to unwind in, like Vitruvian Park, which results in them being easy to reach from the majority of locations within Inwood.
